the guayabo is a medicinal shrub whose activity antibacterial (against bacteria) and antifungal (against fungi) of fruits, leaves, bark, and others of their parties, been proven pharmacologically as combatants of the following patologÃa:
-Staphylococcus, which produces the throat infections.
-Bacillus subtilis, responsible for food poisoning and skin and respiratory irritations.
-Escherichia coli, which causes cholera and urinary tract infections.
-Shigella disenteriae, infection of the intestine.
-Salmonella typhi, gastroenteritis.
-Proteus mirabilis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, which produce infections of the urinary tract.
-Candida albicans, mucous, oral and vaginal infections.
Of each other, mainly alleviates diseases of digestive apparatus, as dysentery (infection of the intestine), diarrhea, intestinal worms (i.e. is an antiherlÃntico) and the amebiasis. That is why I present below some home remedies that guava leaves are primordial element and that can be extremely useful and easy to prepare:
to relieve diarrhea: 1. soak two leaves of guava, three leaves of mint and a branch of Chamomile (10 cm) in half a litre of water and boil for 10 minutes. Take warm water of time until that disappear the inconvenience.

Against worms: 1. prepare an infusion of leaves of guava, mint and epazote in half a litre of water. Drink a Cup in fasting during five days, rest a week, and then repeat the treatment.2 Blend the fruit of the guava tree with boiled water and pumpkin seeds. Ingested in fasting during nine days.
Against amibas: 1. drinking in fasting a guava with coconut water liquefied during three days.
