Madrid, March of 2013- the care of women with breast cancer includes more and more aspects of their care aesthetician as element to improve mood and, therefore their quality of life during the illness. In order to integrate medical treatment with other facets of care of the patient with breast cancer, the Foundation Tejerina has signed a collaboration agreement with the Foundation Angela Navarro for the joint organization of activities that benefit women in the management of the side effects of cancer.
The first joint activity of both foundations will be a workshop of reconstructor makeup which will take place on Thursday, March 21. During this training session, aimed at patients in treatment, attendees will learn how to correct areas of the face that have altered by effects produced by the disease and its treatments, such as loss of eyebrows and eyelashes, Erythema ( redness ”), discoloration of the skin or scars.
As explained by Dr. Armando Tejerina, scientific director of the pathology of the breast Center, the mood before the disease is the most important instrument to deal with any circumstance during medical or surgical treatment. A positive mood favors the effectiveness of any action of the medical Protocol ”.
During the workshop, the professionals of the Foundation Angela Navarro will reveal tricks customized to each Assistant so they can learn to make the most of their own makeup products. When we are well, we feel better. With workshops like this sick gain in freedom ”, says Ãngela Navarro.
