Málaga, January 2012.- why not vaccinate all children in hepatitis A? When we do it? why children spend the flu? These are some of the questions that experts in medicine and nursing be addressed in the V Symposium of Pediatrics, which organizes the Chiron Malaga Hospital paediatric service and will be held on 26 and 27 January in the hotel NH Málaga.
The opening of the Symposium, which will take place today at 16: 00 pm, will feature Dr. Rubén Sanz, Manager of the Malaga Chiron Hospital interventions; by Dr. Juan José Sánchez, President of the College of physicians of Malaga and Juan Antonio Astorga, President of the College of nursing, who will open a meeting that aims to analyze the pediatric practice today, analyse the momentum of private health care in the current economic scenario, and emphasizing the diagnosis and treatment of major diseases and infectious diseases in our autonomous community. For Dr. Manuel Baca, Chief of Pediatrics Hospital Quirón Malaga and coordinator of the meeting, this Symposium involves the possibility of bringing together 400 children, Pediatrics and nursing professionals, to make an update on infections and their prevention in Andalusia, which also reflects what is happening globally ”. The first day will cover the situation of health at present, private as well as the practice of Pediatrics and specificities occurring in our autonomy, as well as the surge in cases of whooping cough in young children. The second day of the meeting will focus on the prevention and analysis of the antipapiloma vaccine and the risk of cervical cancer, as well as the prevention and the evolution of varicella in a community with routine immunization.
