More than 50 researchers become the major forum on the future of the health the international fair of medicine and health.

A Coruña, 2011-October FEIMESA born with the vocation of becoming the great forum of debate on the situation and future of the Spanish health system, a forum which brings together representatives of all the groups involved in the sector: General Councils, schools officers, specialists, teachers, responsible for purchasing, manufacturers, distributors and patient associations. At the opening of the Hall, which took place yesterday at 19.30 H in ExpoCoruña, participated the Director Xeral de Innovación e Xestión da Saúde public of the Xunta de Galicia, the Mayor of A Coruña and the President of the Diputación de A Coruña.

Throughout three days brings together more than 50 experts, scientists and researchers, both Spanish and foreign, the likes of Ángel Luis Rodríguez, director-general of the Spanish Association of generic medicinal products (AESEG), the prestigious Professor j. Kastner, Chief of cardiology at the AHK Hospital of ViennaFernando López Tobío, Managing Director of the multi-national Clue Medical in Spain, Antonio Abella, technical director of Gesmédica, Professor Angel Carracedo and many others. Some of them world specialists in their field and will present news and medical breakthroughs exclusively on FEIMESA.

Each day will be devoted to a topical subject, going on presentations and discussions carried out by some of the leading experts in the field. The three major areas will be the sustainability of the health system in Spain ”, research, technology and training ” and the disability, dependency and older ”. Hot topics such as the cost savings will also be addressed in the health system, the professional intrusion, access to medicines in countries of the third world or the sudden death in the sport.

The lounge is open to both professionals in the health sector as to anyone who is interested in health and medical advances. Non-professional visitors will also discover the latest medical developments and have activities such as check-ups of health or the possibility to participate in promotions of different signatures and treatments.

In addition, FEIMESA will be a hub of international business of the health sector: to the fair will be diplomatic representation of the attending countries with commercial missions headed by their chambers of Commerce, business representations and exhibiting in order to strengthen commercial ties, discuss the opportunities and possibilities for business with Spanish companies. This is the case of Commerce Brazil-Spain Chamber, which will present several projects to encourage Spanish companies to participate in the construction of 400 care between 2012 and 2016 centres, as well as the contribution in equipment that will be needed, as well as other types of projects that have in place for the Olympics and World Cup.

In the exhibition section, more than 30 national and international exhibitors will display the latest products and developments in the sector. We rely on institutions and companies as the University Hospital complex of A Coruña and Santiago, Siemens Health Care, Hidelasa, Artisoftware, Biologik Solutions, Caser, GAES, Clue Medical, group Visiona, among many others.
