Caracas, 22 feb (EFE).-the new leader of the Venezuelan opposition, Henrique Capriles, who face to Hugo Chávez in presidential elections of October 7, today wished the President a “successful operation” and “long live”.
“To my contender, as the son of God that I am, I wish you a successful operation, a speedy recovery and long life!”, wrote Capriles in the social network twitter.
Chavez announced on Tuesday that he detected a new “injury” that has a high probability of being evil, in the same area of the body from which a tumor was extracted in June of last year, and which will operate in the coming days in Cuba.
Eight months after the first intervention, and in the absence of eight months for presidential elections, Chávez denied specifically have metastasis or you’re dying.
Venezuelan President has not specified the time that will travel to Havana, although he noted that it would be prepared for the weekend and that after the surgery it will require lowering the pace that had been increasing in recent months and “rethink” their personal agenda.
“Unfortunately I won’t see (…) will not be able to follow with the pace at which came in crescendo especially since December (…) will not be able to because I am obliged to meet this new circumstance, to rethink my personal agenda and take care of myself and deal with what you have to face”, stated this Tuesday in a call to the State channel VTV.
Chavez called on his followers to accelerate the battle overlooking the campaign for the presidential elections of October 7.
