San Salvador, 31 Aug (EFE).-the dead by dengue hemorrhagic fever in El Salvador rose to four in 2012 with the death of a girl aged three, so far reported today the Minister of health, Maria Isabel Rodriguez.

the official said to journalists that the child died recently at the State hospital in the town of Cojutepeque (Center) and that through laboratory analysis confirmed that “it’s the fourth case” death by dengue hemorrhagic fever in this year.

Rodriguez lamented that the girl was brought too late to the hospital and insisted that the population take preventive measures to counteract the rising incidence of the disease.

the three others who died as a result of dengue hemorrhagic fever are a 14 year old girl, another 10 years and less than four years, according to the health authorities.
