< p> universities and other research institutions and was
founded by the Medical Research Council (MRC, by its
acronym in English) of the British Government, will investigate patterns
of fenoma in patients and volunteers, analyzing samples
-usually blood and urine – with great rapidity.
“installation of the GSK (…) has assumed one of the challenges
most important associated with this type of research
– achieving high performance and a forensic quality control – in
a new level unprecedented anywhere in the world”,
said John Savill, Chief Executive of the MRC.
“rather than lose this investment once they finish the
games, the partnership… will provide a single source that in
ultimately will result in benefits for patients”, added.
Savill said that the Center would be the first of its kind in the
World and that would help scientists to explore the
features of diseases in order to contribute to the development of
new drugs and treatments.
the fenoma changes all the time and is influenced by
factors as diet, the environment, and even the level of
stress. also relates to how a person responds to
diseases, treatments or medicine.
researchers will concentrate on discovering new
biomarkers that can explain why a person or one
population may be susceptible to a disease or other.
the new Center, located in Harlow, in East London,
will be funded for five years by an investment of 5
million pounds sterling (7.83 billion dollars) annual
by MRC and the National Research Institute for
health of the Department of health British.
