non-EU doctors involved with the Spaniards for the MIR have increased 15%
Madrid, January 2012- non-EU doctors who participated on Saturday with Spanish and community doctors for a place on the MIR not affected by quota has increased 15% (239 doctors) regarding the data of last year, according to the responsibility of physicians in formation of the WTO.
Thus it has been revealed after disaggregate data of doctors admitted to the selective test corresponding to the call of the year 2011, who on Thursday made public the Ministry of health, social services and equality, according to which a total of 13.584 graduates in medicine opt to one 6.707 squares for the MIR.
These data include the increase of foreigners with temporary residence permit (SIT 3) which has gone from 207 to 1,072 last year and the decline in those who have permanent residence permit (SIT 2) that of 1,041 have dropped to 120.
This shift – as the seat of the MIR of the WTO – does not change anything the choice of squares as doctors assimilated into the European Union (SIT 1), (SIT 2) permanent residents, and temporary residents (SIT 3) opt to place as EU citizens.
However, they confirm the fact that the responsibility of physicians in training of the WTO has been watching since last when comparing admitted and voters, which found a gap in them, perhaps due to an allegedly incorrect classification and that only the corresponding Administration can explain.
For the responsibility of doctors in training is very significant rise of assimilated to the EU, which doubled last year, going from 295 to 590 data, which means together, not affected by quota-and that they will therefore compete with the national and community in absolute equalitythey have increased by 15%, from 1782 to 1,543.
Within those affected by quota, rising 14,06% of the non-EU with studies (SIT 4) visa, offset by lower 16,14% of doctors that come with visa in your country to take the exam (SIT 5).
The responsibility of doctors of the WTO is grateful to the Ministry of health to facilitate properly processed data to maintain the anonymity of those enrolled, as well as the collaboration of D. José MarÃa Romeo Ladrero editor of the blog MIREntrelazados which has worked them to publish them. In this Edition, the total number of registrations is reflected in an accompanying table.
