Nursing held an institutional act within the programme of activities made to commemorate San Juan de Dios, patron of the profession.
alicante, March 2012.- El College of nursing of Alicante has been held, in collaboration with the Association of retirees graduates of nursing of the province of Alicante, an institutional act within the programme of activities made to commemorate the celebration of San Juan de Dios, patron saint of nursing. It was assisted by different authorities include the coordination of areas and recruitment, Sonia Marco, Councillor and the territorial director of the Ministry of health, José Angel Sánchez Navajas.
Such an act was opened with a conference entitled caring for the caregiver, in charge of Francisco sabuco, nurse, psychologist and guiding family. After she proceeded to the awards ceremony for the VII prize of photography, XIV contest stories short and 12th contest of painting. On the picture the winner was José Aurelio Sáez, with special mention to Jesús MarÃa Palomino. In brief stories winner was Maria Dolores Gil for the work 13 September ”. In the painting the first prize went to Rosa Candel for the work lemons with cellophane paper ”; the second for Jesus Molla by still life with basket of grenades ” and the third for Ana Saura by Margarita ”.

the program of events also included a tribute to the members that jubilaron during 2011 and a recognition of the professional of greater age of the province of Alicante, which this year fell to Pilar Pardo. The event closed with a special recognition to Pilar Pastor, nurse of the Hospital of blood from Alcoy.
