WASHINGTON (AP) – the command of campaign of the President Barack Obama on Monday launched a website at Spanish which seeks to provide personalized information about the benefits that so far has generated 2009 health law and which will provide when leading its implementation in 2014.
Gabriela Domenzain, Director for the Hispanic press of the Obama For America campaign, told reporters that the launch of the web site is “an example of our commitment” to give a tool to our community in both languages.
Domenzain stressed the importance of the Health Act for Hispanics, noting that 31% of them don’t have insurance. It estimated that 9 million Hispanics will have in 2014.
In their efforts to attain re-election, Obama describes Bill of health as one of its main achievements while Republican presidential candidates agree on its goal to cancel, if they reach the White House.
The announcement of Domenzain coincided with the first of three days of hearings held by the Supreme Court of Justice, to the allegation of 26 States that the requirements of the new law to expand Medicaid funds violate the Division of power between the federal Government and the State.
Most of the claimant States are governed by Republicans, whose presidential Raul agree to seek the annulment of the Act in case of reaching the White House.
To fulfill two years of the adoption of the law last week, the internal politics of the Casa Blanca Cecilia Muñoz Director said to be concentrated in further implementing the law and hoped that the Supreme Court will ratify.
Medicaid is a programme financed jointly by the federal Government and the State care, to individuals and families with low incomes.
Representatives of the Republican party attacked the programme of Obama.
“what ObamaCare really brings you to Hispanics is higher taxes, rising costs of caring for the health and a more expansive Government,” said Alexandra Franceschi, Press Secretary for the Republican National Committee special media.
“the last that Hispanics need are the side effects of ObamaCare, which is already extremely unpopular, and two-thirds of Americans want all or a portion of the law is declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court”, said in an e-mail sent to The Associated Press.
