Parcesa and the Mario Losantos del Campo Foundation join forces to raise awareness about the attention to children in mourning

-Signed an agreement to raise awareness among parents and educators about the necessity of caring for children who suffer the loss of a wanted.

Alcobendas, 2011-July the Foundation Mario Losantos del Campo (FMLC) and the company Parcesa, S.A. peace parks, have signed a partnership agreement to jointly develop a project that seeks to improve the care given to children who have suffered the loss of a loved one and are going through a duel.

This Convention is part of the commitment that both entities by raising awareness of death and the processes of mourning, both society and the professionals that accompany the people in these circumstances they share for years.

Attention to children in mourning

The objective of the project ‘ teaching to live, explaining the death of ’ is to sensitize people of most of the children is surroundings said, teachers, parents and guardians – about the need to address the issue of the loss of a loved children and adolescents, without ignore it or relegating.

Today it is estimated that 5% of the population annually suffer the loss of a loved very close. In all these cases of mourning, one in ten tends to become chronic and require therapeutic aid to avoid the risk of developing mental disorders. Training for parents and educators

For this reason, the project of FMLC and Parcesa will organize various training activities aimed at parents and teachers, with the aim of providing the necessary tools to address the issue of death to children and prevent so children facing a complex duel.

To that end, it will develop first a free guide to guide and support the beneficiaries of this project. Also, the possibility of providing a series of talks of free participation, in which an expert will respond to all questions about the difficulty of addressing the duel in the minors will be offered to schools in the North and South of the community of Madrid.
