Permanent disability pensions payroll represents 11% of the total number of allowances contributory.
Spain, January 2012- December permanent disability pensions payroll amounted to 823,9 million euros, a higher figure 3 million than the last; thus, December saw an increase of 1,969 pensioners with regard to the month previous.
The granting of permanent disability pensions that far this year, according to recent data published by the Ministry of labour and immigration through the National Social Security Institute, is 3.67% lower than in the same period of 2010, and continuing with the decline of granted benefitswhich began at the end of the year 2009.
On the other hand, the roster of all occupational pensions amounted to 7.189 million euros, so permanent disability pensions spending has been 11.4 per cent of the total number of contributory benefits allocated by the National Social Security Institute in the month of December.
In that month were 33.175 large disability pensions, with an average of 1,704 euros provision; 363.539 pension of absolute disability in grade, with an average amount of 1094 euros; and 524.000 pension for total disability.
The law medical group offers these data because it takes since 1978 fighting for the rights of those suffering from a medical condition which prevents them from working, because that is the only Center in Spain in offering technical, medical and legal advice to ensure a favorable outcome in the process of processing of Social security pensions.
