San Sebastian, July 2012.- General meeting of Union pharmaceutical Guipuzcoana S.A. (UFG) and the General Assembly of the Guipuzcoana pharmaceutical cooperative, s.Coop (Guifarco) passed in both cases with a majority exceeding 95%, to complete the process of integration of both companies of pharmaceutical distribution and origin of Gipuzkoa capital.

This agreement puts an end to the work that has been developing since 2007 and that led to the Constitution – in September 2010 – Gipuzkoa pharmaceutical distributor company – Gipuzkoako Farmazi Punto S.L., entity that will integrate the business of the two companies reached a market share of pharmaceutical distribution in upper Gipuzkoa from October 1 this year 87%. The new company is chaired by Francis of Assisi Echeveste and Juan Piera will occupy the same DG.
