the Ministry of health and the Ministry of education have just set up the Professional appreciation Program of basic care , which consists of a set of measures to encourage health professionals to work in family health Strategy (ESF) in places difficult to access and rectify or population with greater vulnerability. The Ordinance establishing the program was published last Friday (02/09)
in the Official Gazette.
is included in the proposal the face-to-face and distance support to professionals who attend the program, compensation equivalent to that of workers of the ESF and specialization in family health for those who remain in the project for two years. The municipalities covered by the programme should hire dental surgeons, doctors and nurses for at least a year and provide housing for the team hired when there is a need
