PSN gets to new groups in Catalonia

Barcelona, January 2012- welfare health national (PSN) and the College of graduate social of Barcelona (also encompassing professionals of Lleida and Girona) have signed a collaboration agreement to open the doors of the mutual and to bring their products and services to more than 2,700 members with which the Catalan institution. The agreement has been sealed by the vicepresidente-tesorero of the College, Vicente Rueda Velasco, and the second Vice-President of PSN, Miguel Triola. By virtue of the same, the social graduates of Barcelona will have accident insurance, as a first step in the collaboration established between the two institutions.

This Convention is compounded by another agreement recently also Catalonia. Concretamente en which have sealed PSN and the Institute for research in Biomedicine of Lleida (IRB Lleida), an institution involving the University of Lleida and the Catalan Health Institute. The Convention, signed by the scientific director of the IRB Lleida, Xavier Matias-Guiu, and Miguel Triola, serves to bring closer the mutual services to more than 250 researchers who carry out their task in IRB Lleida.

With these two firms, PSN takes new steps in order to consolidate its position in Catalonia. These conventions are supplemented other subscribed in 2011 with representative institutions of university professionals, such as the signed with schools of Lleida pharmacists or nurses and veterinarians of Tarragona. Not only the agreements reaffirm the momentum that PSN is giving its commercial activity in Catalonia. 2011 Figures also support: an increase in portfolio of premium above double digits, more than 300 new mutual – with the total number in the community exceeds the 8,000 – and more than 4 million euros in new production in total premiums.
