Semergen-Andalusia signs a collaboration agreement with the Andalusian health service

-The agreement implies the recognition of this scientific society as official partner to address all issues related to family medicine and primary care

Seville, April 2012.- this agreement is normatively regularize relationsuntil now based on the goodwill of the parties, and the recognition of the Spanish society of doctors of attention primary-Andalusia (SEMERGEN-Andalusia) as official partner to address all the issues related to family medicine and primary care on an equal footing with other scientific societiesan unprecedented situation ”, explains Dr. Juan Sergio Fernández, President of Semergen-Andalusia following the signing of a collaboration agreement with the Andalusian health service.

Generally the object of this agreement is to establish a mutual partnership for actions such as the preparation of reports, the Organization of forums or the formation of work teams.

Now Semergen – Andalusia may propose to the Andalusian health service the redefinition of the portfolio of services and procedures in the areas of his specialty or specialties based on available scientific evidence, health outcomes, the history of the centres, their technological suitability and the degree of training and vocational training ”, points Semergen President-Andalucía.

For its part, the Andalusian health service request Semergen-Andalusia the designation of representative or representatives of the same as active members in the commissions and courts judges for its specific area of competence in the processes of access, promotion and selection of professionals of the Andalusian public health system subject to the regulations in force.
