SEMERGEN on test ECOE. release
Madrid, November of 2011- the Spanish society of physicians primary care (SEMERGEN) can not endorse the ECOE test this year, according to Royal Decree 1753 / 1998, because of the Spanish society of Medicine of family and community (semFYC) has not allowed its participation therein. Therefore SEMERGEN wants to make the following clarifications:
-SEMERGEN always defend the rights of physicians General pending the approval process are partners or no.
-SEMERGEN always shall ensure that this process be closed as soon as possible, the best way, at a sustainable cost and with a degree of maximum success by applicants, defending equality of the two currently available for obtaining tracks at the same time with the administrations of the title: MIR and extraordinary.
– In our opinion, semFYC has violated the agreement signed in December 2005, still in force. If semFYC calls into question the validity and force of the Convention will be the courts to decide on the validity of the same.
– Has been semFYC who has decided to present on their own for the first time without the participation of SEMERGEN, forcing it to also occur on its own to not stay excluded the evidence. In any case, if the choice had been SEMERGEN, would have an obligation to call semFYC to respect the agreement. Similarly, if the choice has been Semfyc, this should do the same with SEMERGEN, as has happened in the three previous editions.
– During the celebration of our 33 National Congress, held in Oviedo, SEMERGEN has offered to semFYC directly to participate in the test, but it has decided to dismiss him by having the test already planned.
-To understand that semFYC has violated the agreement to not wanting to allow SEMERGEN to participate in this test, we cannot guarantee that process comply with the provisions of Royal Decree 1753 / 1998, as well as either the cut-off point of the test, their degree of difficulty and its methodological relevance cannot be guaranteed.
