RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (Reuters) – Sócrates, former Brazilian soccer star, is in “serious condition” in a hospital in Sao Paulo, the center of Health reported Saturday
According to the medical report of hospital Albert Einstein, Sócrates, 57, is in “been severe, with septic shock of intestinal origin, using a respirator artificial and dialysis”.
Socrates, considered one of the great Brazilian midfielders of the story, played in his country in Corinthians, Flamengo and Santos, as well as the Italy Fiorentina during the decades of 1970s and 1980s.
