Madrid, 15 mar (EFE).-near forty social and trade union organizations gathered on the platform in defence of the State of welfare and public services have today called on the Government to submit an action of unconstitutionality against the law passed yesterday by the Catalan Parliament that sets the co-payment in recipes.
In a statement, this platform considers that “repayment” or the “co-pay” in pharmaceutical delivery exceeds the powers of the Parliament of Catalonia because it’s an “exclusive competence” of the Government, as laid down in the laws of health, medication or cohesion and quality of the national health system.
In his view, in addition, compelled to pay a euro by prescription, albeit with exceptions, is an “assault” on the population groups with more needs of healthcare and a worse economic situation.
The draft was adopted thanks to the abstention of the Catalan PP, which is why platform warns that “the Government is thinking about its future implementation widespread in all Spain”.
The platform in defence of the public services and the welfare State was created last month and they participate in it as UGT and CCOO unions and organizations as the Coordinator of development Spain OND.
