Spanish scientists publish research benchmark on anesthesia of the foot.

This is called the most recent work coordinated by the Professor of the Department of Anatomy of the Faculty of Medicine of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Dr. Alfonso RodrÃguez Baeza and Professor and director of training course of the Spanish Association of surgery of minimal incision (AEMIS), D. Eduardo Nieto GarcÃa.
The first International Congress of surgery of minimal incision of the foot and the XXII International Congress of the Mexican Federation of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, made in days in Madrid and Puebla, respectively, have recognized the depth and relevance of this research. In the words of Carmen Naranjo Ruiz, President of Association Spanish of surgery of minimal incision foot, they have done a thorough job to give scientific consistency to the purely anatomical description of the innervation of the leg and foot, and so they have combined with the clinical practice of anaesthetic procedures of the foot”.
The work, published by Editorial gloss, is available in Spanish and English both paper and e-book, with the aim of facilitating their access to any person interested in the topic. In addition to the scientific rigor and pedagogical character of each chapter, the publication highlights 96 real pictures and of excellent quality, that allow appreciate each one of the procedures explained in detail.
At work they have participated in total eight researchers and doctors a. RodrÃguez e. Nieto as directors and collaborators Elena Nieto, Leonor Ramirez and Ãngel Romo of the clinic podiatric e. grandson of Logroño, and Ana MarÃa González, Marisa Ortega and Manel Querol of the Department of Ciències Morfològiques of the Faculty of Medicine of the University Autònoma de Barcelona.
