from York University in Toronto. The practice two languages, it would delay the development of Alzheimer’s disease, contributing to a greater exercise of the mind and brain.
The study was based on already bilingual persons, who studied its evolution, and could be determined that those who practiced two languages, had less development of Alzheimer’s disease. While those people who in their old age to learn two languages, would also benefit. most of the study focused on young children, which showed a brain more flexible and capable of doing multiple tasks simultaneously. Which means that our brain is developing more and better.
Does not mean that those who speak two languages, will not have Alzheimer’s bad, but rather, who presented once the disease, symptoms may take longer to appear and its development would be even more slow.
