Elx, March of 2013.- El Hospital de Vinalopó hosted the 1st Conference of update in Anesthesiology and care critics, with the aim of establishing a meeting Forum crowd of specialists in Anesthesiology and critical care, resident doctors and nurses specialized in this field.
The Conference, which took place during the evening of Friday, March 22, brought together more than one hundred professionals, which discussed the updating of the monitoring hemodynamics, Fast Scan and basic pulmonary ultrasound, as well as the handling of the defibrillator implantable (DAI) and other devices of electrical stimulation in the operating room.
The Dr. Diego GarcÃa Girona, head of Department of Anesthesiology of the Hospital del Vinalopó, stressed the need for constant updating in this type of pathology with the aim of expanding knowledge useful for daily practice. the meeting was attended by Dr. Vicente Roqués, concerning national in anesthesia locoregional and ultrasound and President of the SEDAR (Sociedad Española de AnestesiologÃa y Reanimación) in Murcia and Vice President of the ESRA (European society of Regional Anaesthesia) in Spain, who tried to bring attendees innovations in the use of ultrasound in regional anaesthesia and vascular access.
In the second part of the day, participants witnessed the latest in clinical applications of therapeutic action in patients with assisted ventilation (Dexmedetomidine) and preventive treatment for critical patients (thromboprophylaxis).
