Tenerife, headquarters of the 48th National Congress of the Spanish society of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic (SECPRE).
Madrid, 2013-February for the first time in the history of the Spanish society of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic (SECPRE), Tenerife will host its 48th National Congress, which will be held from 5 to 7 June in the Auditorium pyramid of Arona (Playa de las Americas). Through a large scientific programme, plastic surgery experts attending this event, will have the opportunity to update their knowledge and the latest news of this medical discipline.
The central theme of the 48th Congress of the SECPRE, which has the support of the Spanish Association against Cancer (aecc), is breast reconstruction, and the importance of this practice for cancer patients who have undergone a mastectomy. this event will serve to remind the population in general, and the authorities in particular, that breast reconstruction must be in expert hands, qualified and trained to do so, i.e., in the hands of plastic surgeons ”, explains Dr. Cristino Suárez, President of the Congress.
Early treatment of melanoma or the career of plastic surgeons today, among other aspects, are some of the topics that will be addressed during the forty-eighth Congress of the SECPRE.
