The Aragonese Institute of health sciences and the University San Jorge will collaborate in the training of future researchers.
-both institutions have signed an agreement which allows them to participate jointly in the doctoral program in health sciences of the University
-Since last Friday, students have the possibility of doing his thesis on the premises of the Institute will be tutored by their researchers that, for its part, can participate in the courts of defence of thesis
Zaragoza, March 2012.- El Instituto Aragonés of Health Sciences (I+CS) and the San Jorge University of Zaragoza (USJ)in the context of the existing collaboration between the two research, have signed on Friday an agreement aiming to establish partnerships for the training of future researchers in the health branch.
Specifically, the agreement allows the joint participation of these two entities in the program of doctorate of the health sciences, recently created by this University.Since last Friday, students of this Center have the possibility of his thesis, which can be co-directed, at the premises of the I+CS. Also, researchers of this Institute, can join the academic programme Committee and participate in the thesis defence courts.
Under a Royal Decree approved in the year 2011, opening the door to the possible collaboration of universities with other agencies, centers, institutions and activities of r & d, public or private entities, the I+CS and the University of St. George narrow channels of cooperation that already existed previously with this new Convention.
The University San Jorge is a non-profit institution, promoted by the Foundation San Valero, whose mission is to serve society creating and transmitting knowledge and contributing to the training of persons of integrity and good professionals.
The I+CS is the public Manager of knowledge in biomedicine and health, dependent on the Department of health, Social Welfare and family of the Government of Aragón. includes professionals of hospitals and primary care of Aragon and mission is to facilitate effective innovation in health through knowledge management services.
