Vitoria, 29 nov (EFE).-the Basque Government trusts that the next President, Mariano Rajoy, put “order” in the health care conflict between Basque country and La Rioja “without going into the misery of money”.
Thus the spokesman of the Executive, Idoia Mendia, during the press conference following the Governing Council in reference to negotiations has been expressed by that carried out the Governments Basque and La Rioja to provide health care to Alava of municipalities border with La Rioja.
The last September the Rioja Government decided to stop providing health care to the Rioja Alava and both executives are now negotiating to restore these services before the 1 of December.
The agreement seems to be difficult because the Basque Government considers “absolutely unacceptable” proposals of La Rioja because it continues to demand compensation economic.
Mendia has explained that the Basque Executive presented a proposal with “very reasonable” basis the Riojan to return to the situation before September because no care can reduce health.
In its offer, the Basque Government established a series of care compensation as Rioja may be served in the Basque country in clinical services there in the community of La Rioja.
Although the spokesman said that does not preclude an agreement before December 1, has pointed out that if it is not the case you will have to act the Government of Spain, which has basic management competences health.
Has thus relied on that Rajoy, when convening regional leaders of the PP, including that of La Rioja, Pedro Sanz, put an “order” on an issue as basic as health and health equality for all “without going into the misery of money”.
Asked to Rajoy if he believes in a national health system, in equality of all Spaniards or if it believes in a “divided, full of puzzles and uneven” Spain.
If you are not able to Rajoy solve this matter “hardly going to order in other issues such as markets or the deficit”, has opined Mendia.
