valencia, January 2012.- the Council of nursing of the Comunitat Valenciana (CECOVA) and official colleges of nursing in Valencia, Castellón and Alicante have requested keep an urgent interview with the Minister of health, Luis Rosado, to express the unease ” the collective nurse by Decree-Law 1/2012 of urgent measures for the reduction of the deficit in the Generalitat Valenciana, which is the biggest cut wages and loss of rights at work in the history of nursing ”.
In response, the President of the CECOVA, José Antonio Avila, and collegiate Presidents of nursing of Valencia, Castellón and Alicante, Juan José Tirado, Francisco j. couple and Bethlehem Payá, respectively, will also keep a round of contacts with health care unions in the Valencian Community for offer their collaboration in the search for alternative solutions to those adopted by the Council without prior dialogue and consensus with representatives of professional and trade union organizations of the health ”.
Ãvila announced that the Organization autonomous College of nursing will make every effort to collaborate with other health professional groups, to express rejection of wage cuts and labour rights measures envisaged by the health administration with a single voice ”.
