The center of public health in Alzira obtains the certificate of excellence in quality.

Alzira, July 2012.- Alzira public health center has obtained the certificate of quality that accredits the excellence of health practices. This Center is responsible for developing public health activities and programmes for the promotion of health of the Generalitat in the Health Department of the Bank.
The quality certificate has been delivered by the director-general of public health, Manuel Escolano, the director of the Centre of Alzira, Rosendo Sanz, public health at a ceremony held on June 21 and the managing director of the Health Department of La Ribera, Manuel MarÃn, and the Commissioner of the Department to the Department of health which attendedMª Ãngeles Matoses.

In operation since 1992, the Centre of Alzira is part of the network of 16 public health centers that exist in the region of Valencia and is responsible for running all programs that the Generalitat starts in order to protect and promote people’s health and prevent disease through collective action in the Health Department of the Bank.
To do this, it has, among its functional units, with epidemiology, occupational health, environmental health and food safety, with the official veterinary service and units of health promotion and prevention of Breast Cancer.
The Centre of Alzira public health has gained a level of excellent with 750 points over 1,000. With 100% compliance, highlights the dimensions or areas of assessment of management of human resources, management of the logistics functions, information management and relationship with the population and ethical aspects.
