Madrid, March 2012.- the Council General of schools of physiotherapists of Spain (CGCFE) has moved to the Chairperson of the Health Commission of the Senate, Carmen Aragon; and the Health Commission of the Popular parliamentary group spokesmanManuel Cervera, the lines for the development of future policy changes to enable physical therapist be a professional prescribing and obtaining the specialties, two priorities in the Council’s actions.
After the meeting held yesterday between the President of the CGCFE, José Antonio MartÃn Urrialde and the Secretary general, Manuel Alcantarilla, with representatives of both houses, the Council has stressed the interest shown by their partners, who described the Council’s proposals as positive for the quality care and professional development.
The Secretary-General and the President of the CGCFE outlined in detail the various technical aspects of the proposals and, in this sense, have insisted on the need that they enjoy the consensus of various collective health, as a prelude to political bargaining, aspect is being undertaken in a manner planned by the Presidency.
