Madrid, July 2012.- for the second consecutive year and within the framework of the 225 anniversary of the Hospital ClÃnico San Carlos, classroom Social Zarco has opened the deadline for the receipt of story brief Doctor Zarco contest worka contest open to practitioners of the Centre or other hospitals, both to any citizen or user that you want to participate.
Stories, free theme, must be original and unpublished and may not have been awarded in another literary competition. They should have a length two pages minimum and maximum of five and written in Spanish and will be registered according to the forms established in the bases. the deadline for submission of reports remains open from Monday July 16 and ends at 13: 00 hours on Thursday, October 11, 2012.
The jury chosen for the election of the winner will be ClÃnico San Carlos professionals related to literature and personalities from the world of letters, and the Prize consists of the publication of the story in the magazine of the hospital clinical expression ”, a certification of the retrieved award and a commemorative plaque as institutional gift delivery.

In the first edition of this competition, held in November last year, was winning the work entitled Torisimo whose author is Dr. Jesus Hurtado, anesthesiologist of the Hospital ClÃnico San Carlos and were finalists the wishes of a child and under the street lamp work submitted respectively by Paloma Hidalgo tenneighboring of Alcalá de Henares. One act of the 225 anniversary
This initiative of the classroom Social Zarco is part of events throughout the year to commemorate the 225 anniversary of the aforementioned Hospital, among them the festival of short films, performances of opera and classical music, theatre with the company of Blanca Marsillach, days devoted to sport and cooperation, also literary gatherings and exhibitions.
These events are organized by the above-mentioned Social classroom Zarco, that since its creation in April 2010 in tribute to the cardiologist Peter Zarco, carried out informative, cultural activities and leisure directed all citizens, aiming to turn the hospital into a space open to its surroundingsespecially during this year 2012, the year in which occurs the 225 anniversary of its foundation.
