Spain, January 2012.- in relation to the news that are appearing in the media on the proposal to exclude from public financing medicines in less than two euros, the College of pharmacists of Pontevedra reiterates that:
-the schools official of pharmacists, as representatives of the entire Galician pharmacies and pharmacists, does not support saving measures health that harm to the citizen.
-this measure could mean a decline in pharmaceutical delivery to the population and discrimination against the economically most disadvantaged patients and, therefore, would seriously alter the fairness of the public system of health.
