During his speech, the Director of health stressed that to combat diabetes, particularly type 2, the main weapon is prevention, through a more healthy and balanced diet and increased physical activity, without forgetting the screening, that sometimes this disease does not give symptoms until stadiums advanced already emerging severe complications ”.
On the day we have analyzed the most relevant data about diabetes, a disease that grows in a manner parallel to obesity and it affecting increasingly younger population, focusing in particular on the prevention of this disease, from screening to one that can develop during pregnancy, gestational diabetes. Among the measures of prevention, has stressed the need to maintain a proper lifestyle, with a proper diet and exercise in a moderate way.
