Madrid, April 2012.- has been considered by the President of the General Council of schools of physiotherapists of Spain (GCCFE), José Antonio MartÃn Urrialde, as necessary ” the Constitution of the professional forum of the national health system and pointed the determined collaboration ” Council that presides over in the work the same develop. The Ministry of health, social services and equality has formally formed the professional forum of the national system of health, a body covered in article 35.3 of the law of cohesion and quality, in 2003, as a body dependent on the Commission’s human resources. Representatives of the health professions, as well as the ministries of finance, education, defence and the autonomous communities are part of the same.
Similarly, MartÃn Urrialde has shown their support in the creation of the national register, although he has tempered that it is a competition of professional bodies that must be shared with the Ministry of health, social services and equality.
The professional forum will be an organ of consultation and information for the Ministry in all matters relating to health professionals, advising on the definition of criteria of assessment of professional competence or the proposed lines of integration of training specialist with university degree educationmaster and doctorate.
The constitutive meeting was chaired by the Secretary general of health and consumption, Pilar Farjas, who explained to the audience that the Ministry will promote a broad agenda on human resources to value the main asset of our health system: professionals ”.
Also Farjas announced the draft Royal Decree which will incorporate criteria of core subjects in the training of specialists in health sciences, as well as the need of collective specialties health as still not have obtained, such as physiotherapists.
