Torrevieja, February 2013.- the Department of health of Torrevieja, managed by Bank health and Asisa and integrated into the public network of the Generalitat Valenciana, has launched the smoking cessation program ”, within the Plan of health promotion, more health for the employee ”targeting all professionals of the Department who smoke and want to quit.
In this sense, has taken place the first briefing of the program, from the hand of Esther Pastor, physician of Pneumology of Torrevieja Center. The objective of this first touchdown, which has counted with the assistance of more than 40 stakeholders, has been to inform employees about the pros leave smoking and raise their awareness of the importance of abandoning bad habits to prevent disease and live a healthy life.
