Granada, November 2011- the V Forum of foundations research managers in the healthcare system Theispublic Andalusia will have broad-based participation of professionals from the Instituto de Salud Carlos III and private initiative, who will be announced his experience and methods of work in different fields of action.
The event, which takes place in Granada during the 7th and 8th of November, will bring together researchers and research managers to discuss, analyze and share common matters of interest related to the organizational model for the management of r & d in the Andalusian health. Thus, the this Fifth Edition programme will address aspects such as the plan of development of human capital, labour recruitment in the field of biomedical research and different strategies for the effective uptake of funds, among others.
The Forum of managers research foundations is a quote from reference to organizations that encourage, promote and manage scientific practice and form a regional network, allowing researchers linked to the public health system in Andalusia to a homogenous portfolio of services irrespective of the geographical area in which to develop their scientific activity.
Over two days, the Provincial delegation of Granada health will host experts in different fields related to health research who, through round tables and papers, converge and will address topics of interest to attendees, which is expected to reach the figure of one hundred.
Key r & d services
V Forum of research foundations managers is a meeting place and discussion covering a wide range of topics of interest. In this sense, the day will begin with the analysis of the lines that make up the strategic action 2008-2011 for the national health system and what are the achievements made in Andalusia since put in place this program. Support and management of health research
The network of foundations managers oriented its activity support and the management of biomedical research that takes place in the field of public health system of Andalusia and is formed as a permanent structure of cooperation and interaction for the continuous improvement of services provided to researchers.
Around of 90 professionals linked to the management of health research are involved in some of the working groups which have been formalized as a result of the project network of managers research foundations in the health system public Andalusia. The Foundation public Andalusian progress and health, for its regional character, promotes and coordinates this initiative which has involved all the foundations, supporting the project and working with the plans and activities to perform.
There are six local research management foundations that comprise this network: Foundation for the management of biomedical research in the province of Cádiz, Andalusia Beturia Foundation for health research in Huelva (Fabis), Foundation for biomedical research in Córdoba (Fibico)Fundación Andaluza publishes to the Malagueña research of biomedicine and health (Fimabis), Foundation of the bio research of Andalusia Eastern Alejandro Otero – giving coverage to the provinces of Granada, Jaén and AlmerÃa-(Fibao) and last but not least, the Andalusian public foundation for the management of research in health in Seville (Fisevi).
This organizational model implies a qualitative far-reaching step to allow that any professional in the health system, which performs its activity within the Andalusian territory, irrespective of the place has support of management and support to his research work.
