The Foundation often hearts distributes gifts among the hospitalized children.

-from 19 to 22 December, members of staff and volunteers of the Foundation give away plush toys to children hospitalized in four hospitals in Madrid

-En Spain, per year approximately 4,000 children are born with a heart injury. Many of them spend Christmas hospitalized due to treatments and surgical operations

-this initiative is part of the campaign of Christmas 2011 of the Foundation, which also includes a snack for the volunteers and the sale of solidarity products

Madrid, 2011-December on the occasion of the celebration of Christmasthe Foundation often hearts distributes gifts, from 19 to 22 December, at the children hospitalised in the units of Pediatrics, Pediatric Cardiology, neonatology and units of care paediatric intensive of the twelve hospitals in October, Gregorio Marañón, La Paz and Ramón y Cajal, Madrid. Staff and volunteers of the Foundation, include some corporate volunteers of the companies Cisco, Ikea and Lilly, obsequiarán children with stuffed animals donated by customers and the “Ensanche” of Vallecas Ikea store workers and employees of Ikea Alcorcón.

This initiative forms part of the campaign of Christmas 2011 of the Foundation often hearts which also includes other activities: a Christmas lunch for volunteers and the sale of solidarity products, include shirts, keyrings, badges, sports bags and watches with the logo of the Foundationas well as calendars for 2012, Christmas cards and lottery numbers from the fat ” Christmas.

Donation of stuffed animals

Ikea Ensanche of Vallecas and Ikea Alcorcón stores have collaborated on this initiative contributing their bit via the donation drive stuffed animals involving their clients and their employees. All those people who purchase a stuffed animal in Ikea Ensanche of Vallecas, from December 1, 2011 until January 5, 2012, and that deposited it in the ballot box installed with payment boxes, will have made a gift to a hospitalized child. The Foundation often hearts shall distribute stuffed animals to children during Christmas and on 14 February, international day of the congenital heart disease.

The Foundation often hearts is a non-profit, who works for family and friends of children and youngsters with heart, both congenital and acquired diseases. The main concern of the Foundation often hearts is to provide healing, integral development and the improvement of the quality of life of children and adolescents who suffer from heart disease.
