The General de Castelló hosts first students of the degree in medicine.

Castellón, 2013 February.- the recently accredited Hospital Universitari General Castello received on Monday first 18 students of the degree in medicine who will conduct their practices in the coming months in this health centre.

The Manager of the Departament of Salut of Castello, Francisco Pérez, has accompanied in these early days students of CEU-Cardenal Herrera University together with the Coordinator of the practices of the health centre, Enrique Cuñat, medical / nursing, Beatriz Sánchez-Peral and Encarna Rodríguez directors, as well as the Assistant Medical Director, Miguel Angel Beltran.

Perez has invited them take advantage of their formative period in the health centre of the province of Castellón reference and the quality of their guardians ” in each of the services by which pass.

The Hospital General Universitari de Castello was credited last January by the General direction of evaluation, quality and attention to the patient of the regional Ministry of health as University hospital, allowing it to form the medical grade students who have not yet completed their training.

This certification this fact has meant an important seal of quality that accredits teaching work in the Center, promotes teaching, motivates professionals, increases the prestige of the hospital and encourages research, as indicated by the conseller de Sanitat, Manuel Llombart in the public’s recognition ceremony.

So far, the health centre and the health centres in the Department welcomed each year to about 100 optional training specialists.
