Alzira, 2013 February.- The University Hospital de La Ribera met last Wednesday, fifty specialists (surgeons, radiologists, oncologists) in all the region of Valencia, at the Conference that the israeli Professor Hassana Degani has offered to inform of a revolutionary diagnostic technique in the Oncology field.

Hassana Degani, of the Weizmann Institute in Israel, is a researcher in basic sciences, with extensive experience in the use of magnetic resonance imaging as a diagnostic method. The visit of Professor Degani is the result of an agreement for scientific collaboration established with the head of the service of Radiology of the Hospital Universitario de La Ribera, DRA. Professor Degani has focused his lecture on the use of diffusion tensor Imaging (DTI), a technique that greatly improves the ability to diagnosis with respect to magnetic resonance studies current, increasing the specificity of the diagnostic study, as well as the speed of the same, especially in the field of breast cancer and the pancreas.
