Spain, September 2011.- AENOR, Asociación Española de normalización y certificación, has certiticat the Institute for research in primary care, IDIAP Jordi Gol, has a quality management system in accordance with the norm UNE – EN ISO 9001: 2008 for its activities of advice and support in the management of research projects in attention primary and community health.

This certification is according to the Dra. conception Violan, Manager of the IDIAP “a very important recognition of the work done since the IDIAP.” We always strive to provide primary care researchers a maximum quality framework for the development and management of their projects. The Foundation Jordi Gol i Gurina was created in 1996 by the Catalan Health Institute, with the aim of promoting and managing innovation, training, teaching and research clinical, epidemiological and health services in the field of primary health care.

In 2006, he became the Institute for research in primary care Jordi Gol (IDIAP Jordi Gol), through the signing of an economic agreement with the Department of health and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
