Madrid, January 2012- the hope of life in the community of Madrid more than 83 years, according to the motion nature of the population of the National Institute of statistics (INE). This data it provided on Tuesday the Health Minister, Javier Fernández-Lasquetty, in the Centre of Daroca health.
According to data of the National Institute of statistics, the life expectancy in the community of Madrid was 83.4 years and Spain average life expectancy is 81,87. In absolute terms, only the community of Madrid and Navarre have a life expectancy of greater than 83 years.
Madrid succeeded in having one of the highest hopes of life from around the world – said Fernandez-Lasquetty – to overcome the life expectancy in Japan. Furthermore in 1.4 years, Madrid with 83.4 years of life expectancy has figures better than those of all countries of the European Union and most of the regions Spain. so for example, nationwide Madrid has 2.7 years Andalusia and at European level, 2.4 years older than France, rather than Netherlands 3.2 or 2.2 rather than Italy ”.
Similarly, if one compares the increase in life expectancy over the past 20 years, Madrid is the region most improved in this indicator. And it is that since 1991, locals have increased by 5.8 years their life expectancy at birth, from 77.6 years to 83.4.
These results of life expectancy are the result of the work of health professionals and especially of the of the of primary care, are able to address and resolve 90% of the ailments of the Madrid population.
