El Madrid health service appoints new managers in eight hospitals public.
Madrid, October 2011.- The Council of administration of the Madrid health service has approved on Thursday the new appointments of managers in eight public hospitals. In particular, the Madrid health service has named Ricardo Herranz, Manager of the Hospital Universitario Gregorio Marañón, which will replace Antonio Barba. To date, Herranz was managing director of the University Hospital of Getafe.
Antonio Barba left the management of the Gregorio Marañón at his own request. Meanwhile his successor, Ricardo Herranz, well known this Centre since he was 7 years director of management.
To replace Herranz in the management of the University Hospital of Getafe, the Board of Directors of the SERMAS has appointed Carlos Villoria, which to date directed Joseph Germain Psychiatric Hospital (in Leganés).
