Logroño, 17 nov (EFE).-the Mayor of Oyón (Basque country), Rubén Garrido (PP), said today that “expected rather more political and personal” President La Rioja, Pedro Sanz (PP), which has been of the opinion that “has erred” in its decision not to provide health care to its neighbours and the rest of the Rioja Alavesa.
Ruben Garrido has made these statements at the place where he remained on hunger strike since yesterday, front of the building where the regional President said, in press conference, who wish to receive primary and specialized care in La Rioja, which is competition of each community, “will have to ask and to agree on”, “Meanwhile, there will be nothing”.
“Is reinforcing its position and my seems, somehow, a regrettable position”, has been considered the Mayor to journalists who have been informed, this morning, the statements of the President Riojan.
The Mayor of the PP did not want to answer the question of whether “will ask for amparo” to Mariano Rajoy, leader of the party in which he and Pedro Sanz militate, and he replied that he expected “sanity” and “common sense by all parties”. “But every day that this stretches have to blush to someone,” has been added.
Ruben Garrido has it now wants to telephone contact – to continue his hunger strike against the Government of the Rioja – with the Basque Executive, to make it move “tab” in this conflict, and the Ministry of health has asked to take action and to “put the Bell the cat”.
City alderman that has been continually accompanied since yesterday, when he began his act of protest by residents of their municipality, has opined that the central Government should be given “strong steps” in this situation that affects the residents of nearby Alava La Rioja.
Garrido has considered that different attitudes put in question “what are politicians”, although he did not want to specify who referred to.
Yes added that it must be asked is whether the politicians who are “are that should be”.
