Valencia, February 2012. Organization College of nursing will move to the members the content of 11 adjustment measures which take place the Ministry of health in order to save a total of 440 million euros of the health budget in 2012 and that were presented by the Minister of health, Luis Rosado, to the Presidents of the Nursing Council of the Valencian Community (CECOVA) and schools of nursing of Castellón, Valencia and Alicante.

The CECOVA and nursing schools will disseminate the measures collected contributions to them through their respective web pages, where nurses can download the full document and contribution form enabled through the nurse Observatory of health cuts.

The President of the CECOVA, José Antonio Ávila, explained that the Minister of health was emphasized at the meeting that since schools of nursing will provide all those proposals for savings in which the nurse profession has a leading role ”. For this reason, from the collegiate organization would like to invite all staff nurses to do all those proposals that it deems appropriate in soon becomes which is apparent clearly the contribution nurse to the reduction of global health spending ”.

Front rejection of the Decree-Law 1/2012
