The number of granted permanent disability pension is reduced nearly 10% since 2009.
Spain, December of 2011- the number of pension granted in 2010 was 7.25 per cent lower than those that occurred in 2009, a decline which saw 7,107 incapacity pensions less granted by the Government. In 2010, permanent disability pensions payroll amounted to 81,4 million euros and the average amount of this stood at 895,89 EUR. According to data published by the Ministry of labour and immigration, this decrease in the number of granted pension has been recording since 2007 – with the exception of 2009 that saw an increase of 0.68%-.
In the first ten months of the year this trend continues, declining the granting of pension for permanent incapacity 3.2% for 2010, being the month of April which recorded the biggest fall, with a drop of 17.7% in the high. The rest of occupational pensions granted during the 2010 also descended over the 2009 to fall by 1.8%.
The law medical group offers this information because it takes since 1978 fighting for the rights of those suffering from a medical condition which prevents them from working, and is the only Center in Spain in offering technical, medical and legal advice to ensure a favorable outcome in the process of dealing with Social Security pension.
