The Pfizer Foundation Announces Prize by 2013 Social commitment.

-The goal is to recognize the work done by entities or organizations, public or private, by entrepreneurs and innovative projects that create opportunities for disadvantaged groups

-the jury assessed positively the innovation of the project, the number of beneficiaries and the active participation of the same, as well as the activities of diffusion and its application

– the presentation of the award will take place in a public event that will take place the last quarter of 2013

Madrid, March of 2013- the Pfizer Foundation has launched the call for its annual award for Social engagement, the highest recognition of this entity to those organizations that work within the social sphere and focus their activity on the support and the promotion of health. The deadline for submission of works ends on 15 April (inclusive) and the provision of the prize is £5,000.

The aim of this award is to recognize the work done by entities or organizations, public or private, by entrepreneurs and innovative projects that create opportunities for disadvantaged groups. So, may be submitted to this call all those who carry more than three years working in the social field and focus its activity, total or partially, in the support and promotion of the health of the population in the Spanish territory.

the jury, composed of members of the Board of Trustees of the Pfizer Foundation, will positively assess those jobs that meet any of the following: innovation of the project, high number of beneficiaries and active participation of the same, dissemination, and application. in addition, only be accepted which have begun before November 2012 and projects that demonstrate measures of impact achieved in the environment.

The award will be held in a public ceremony that will take place the last quarter of 2013 and which will be communicated promptly.
