The residence of San Juan upgrading its facilities.

Madrid, 2011-October the complex Residencial Dr. Pérez Mateos, located in the town San Juan Alicante, will temporarily close its doors to undertake reforms with the aim of improving the facilities and the services it offers. After years of uninterrupted attention to national health forecasting mutualists and families — PSN is the main shareholder of Doctor Pérez Mateos S.A. —, the residence requires a reform that allows to adapt their facilities to the new times and the needs of residents and visitors.

Improvement actions have started already and, among them, the modernization and review full of facilities electrical, water, and elevators, among others, also with the aim of optimizing consumption.

The reopening of the residence of San Juan is scheduled for the end of the month of February. The temporary closure, which coincides with the months of lowest occupation, and which will also affect very positively in the accounts of the society, has meant the novation of contracts of the staff of the residence, which will continue to be part of the template of the PSN group, maintaining categories and antiquesSince it has sought, with the Works Council agreement, the best solution to maintain employment contracts modifying and converting them into fixed discontinuous, that employees of the complex are part of the project, known to the customer and the company has with them.

Dr. Pérez Mateos also expected improvements to increase next year the occupation, both in the holiday segment businesses and events because it counts with 10 meeting rooms and a 400 seat amphitheatre divisible into two.

Residential complex

The complex Residencial Dr. Pérez Mateos is a Center with more 65,000 square meters with more than 50 years of history linked to national health provision. The Centre has been for many years a place of holiday leisure groups taking part in the mutual. The complex has 3 buildings with capacity for more than 570 people, as well as a number of services for the enjoyment of mutualist, among them referred to 10 rooms for congresses, garden areas, two swimming pools, tennis courts, practice golf course, football pitch and a gymnasium, among other services.
