The Sanitas Smile project recognized as one of the 100 Best Ideas of health 2011.

Madrid, November 2011- The Sanitas Smile initiative has been honored by medical journal as one of the best Ideas of the health of 2011 in the section on solidarity and patronage.

You sanitas Smile is a program whose goal is to help employees of Sanitas to take a more active and healthy life, and making the workplace a new health care environment. The program is addressed to employees of the central headquarters of Sanitas, and is based on four lines of action: nutrition, hydration, exercise, and eradication of bad habits.

You sanitas Smile also measures how to improve the health indicators for employees to take physical exercise routines. This measurement is carried out by the Chair Sanitas Wellbeing Universidad Europea de Madrid, a joint research project between the two institutions that offers the employee tools to change their habits of life, in order to assess the positive impact of the practice of physical exercise in the working environmentas well as his relationship with reduced absenteeism and improved productivity.
