the Secretary of State Carmen Vela closed the first edition of the women and science of the VHIR cycle
Barcelona, March 2012.- tomorrow Wednesday 28 March Ms. Carmen Vela, Secretary of State for research, development and innovation, will deliver the closing Conference of the cycle women and science which has organized the Vall d ’ Hebron Institut de Recerca (VHIR) throughout the month of March.
The Conference will take place March 28 at 10.30 p.m. in the Hall of acts of the Pavelló Docent of the Hospital Universitari Vall d ’ Hebron (veur map attached).
Carmen Vela, a prominent record as a researcher and entrepreneurial scientific, will speak the role women in the science, as well as the general lines of action of the Secretariat of State.
The cycle ‘ women and science ’ opened with a Conference of the DRA. Margarita Salas and continued with the round table on challenges and opportunities and a workshop of coaching carried out by consultants accredited by the European Commission.
The Vall d ’ Hebron Institut de Recerca (VHIR) is a research center founded in 1994, as part of the Hospital Universitari Vall d ’ Hebron (HUVH) l ’ Institut Català de la Salut (ICS), and is associated to the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).
