Madrid, 2011-December Health Minister Javier Fernández-Lasquetty visited last Wednesday 21 hospital of the Tagus in Aranjuez, Centre Hospitalier belonging to the public network of the community of Madrid, to learn about the functioning of the consultation of high-resolution cardiology.
This query will become operational next month of January and with it, the patient, derived from primary care mostly of Aranjuez area or the emergency service, in one single visit is diagnosed, it is all the evidence and receive treatment.
In this way, we are going to avoid successive appointments to the realisation or valuation of medical tests, increase the prevention of cardiovascular disease and improve the quality of care ”, assured Fernández-Lasquetty.
Since the beginning of the year, the service of Cardiology, which boasts four cardiologists, two nurses and two nursing assistants, has heeded 4.056 consultations between first and successive, and has done more than 9,300 tests and diagnostic techniques.
Also the Tagus hospital has since last October with a query at high risk of colorectal cancer aimed at patients with high risk of suffering from a tumor of these features.
These patients are derived from primary care or consultation of the specialist consultation.
The service of digestive has five optional area, three nurses and three assistants for nursing specialists. Since the beginning of the year, it has attended 7.622 consultations between first and successive and has conducted 4.045 tests between gastroscopias, ultrasound scans and colonoscopies.
The Tagus hospital has treated this year 145.478 queries, 46.334 ER and 785 childbirths and has made 4.672 income and 3.735 interventions surgical.
