The training Plan of the Provincial Hospital offers 12 courses and workshops.

Castellón, March 2012.- The internal training plan of the staff of the hospital Provincial de Castellón consortium includes a total of seven courses and five workshops aimed both to health personnel as administrative in order to improve the quality of health that patients of the Center, explained the Director of nursing and care responsible for trainingMaría José Beltrán. For this edition has opted for the modality of training internal ”, IE is the own personnel of the Centre who trained his specialty to the rest of staff, influencing of the Hospital’s own specific issues and encouraging the motivation of the teachers themselves.

All courses and workshops are carried out with its own resources and will involve no extra cost to the Centre, thus following the guidelines of the Strategic Plan of efficiency that pursues a cost containment.

In total, they offered nearly 300 hours of training to which access a total of 350 workers, who have until 26 March to submit their applications.

The courses referred to in the Plan, which annually makes following the proposals of the workers, include three van for all personnel of the Centre such as the one organized to publicize the services and information to the patient, or applications such as Openoffice or kewan basic teaching.

Nurses can access a course on anesthesia in which you will learn the techniques and the procedure of anesthesia nursing care; as well as to another on communication and emotional management in Oncology and palliative care will that also be taught how to deal with grief.

The prevention of occupational hazards in the handling of patients is another training actions which, in this case, goes to the keeper.

Nursing assistants have a specific course in which will be the planning and development of programmes for the prevention and control of nosocomial infection.
Scheduled workshops include topics such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation in adults and children, the EKG, electronic medical history, or bibliographical searches available on the network for use in research.

The formation of the consortium offer joins the courses of continuous and continuous training of the Valencian School of health studies (EVES), as well as the plan of the deputation which can also access the Hospital workers and the courses offered by the trade unions, universities and other agencies.
