Madrid, 2 APR ( EFE).-the Ministers of the Interior, justice and health, Jorge Fernández, Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón and Ana Mato, respectively, as well as the State attorney general, Eduardo Torres-Dulce, will meet on 12 April with associations affected by the cause of the “stolen children”.
So justice sources, who have pointed out that this “high level” meeting in response to the commitment of the Executive with those affected by this cause, those who want to show their willingness to listen to them and help them have confirmed to Efe.
The meeting, to be held in the Palace of Parcent, headquarters of the Ministry of Justice, is the second maintains the Government with associations, since the past February 10 the Secretary of State for Justice, Fernando Román, already held a first making contact with them.
Gallardon assured the past March 6 in the Senate has given “absolute priority” to the case of “stolen children”, because, he said, “collides head-on” with the model of society that defends the Executive, at the time that discarded shirk any responsibility.
The Minister also stressed that had been in contact with the Ministry of the Interior that the security forces investigated, that the fact that the courts say if offences are prescribed or not, does not mean that they carried out the police investigation “of face to the search for objective truth”.
Noted that justice has already begun working with the Spanish data protection agency, to broadcast “as short as possible” a technical report to learn about the legal possibilities of accessing the files to search for “stolen children”.
Also stressed that this working group would be incorporated into the Ministry of health, social services and equality “to open another avenue for collaboration given the involvement in the performance in clinics and hospitals”.
To the General Prosecutor’s Office of the State requested a feasibility study on the possibility of a general instruction addressed to the provincial prosecutor’s offices to establish guidelines for action in all cases.
